Description

This Burmese Buddha statue stands on a simple lotus base. His right hand is in the abhaya mudra also known as the protection gesture while his left is in the the varada mudra, the gesture of charity or conferring boon or grace. In this mudra the arm is extended all the way down with the palm facing outwards and fingers extended downwards.

This wood sculpture is a one of a kind statue, hand carved by the very talented artists of Myanmar (Burma). Every piece is truly unique!
