Description
This Buddha statue is one of a few selected pieces which were hand painted using unusual rich blended colors, it has beautiful red and golden highlights.
Lord Buddha is seated in dhyana asana, the meditative pose also called padmasana. His hands are in the vitarka mudra or teaching gesture which depicts the transmission of Buddhist teaching. A Buddharupa perfect for a home altar or meditation room.
